LAFC Using Dodger Stadium Parking Lot For Fans Attending MLS Cup Final

Exposition Park will be the site of two major sporting events on Saturday as the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) takes on the Philadelphia Union for the MLS Cup at Banc of California Stadium at 1 p.m. PT.

Later that night, the USC Trojans play against the California Golden Bears at L.A. Memorial Coliseum, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

Due to the USC football game, LAFC fans will not be allowed to park in or around Expo Park and Banc of California Stadium for the MLS Cup matchup. LAFC is encouraging fans to take the Metro or use rideshare apps to get to the game.

LAFC is also utilizing Dodger Stadium parking lot and providing free shuttles for fans attending the MLS Cup. Parking at Dodger Stadium will be complimentary for 5,000 cars.

Fans are being asked to drive to Dodger Stadium and enter Sunset Gate A. Parking will be available in Lot 1, which opens at 9 a.m. Tailgating is not permitted.

Buses will shuttle fans on a constant loop to Banc of California Stadium and back to Dodger Stadium after the match. These buses will drop off and depart along Exposition Boulevard, and as a result, Exposition Boulevard’s eastbound lanes will be completely closed from Vermont Avenue to Figueroa Street between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

“In one of the greatest sports cities in the world, it’s not surprising that we find ourselves in a unique and challenging situation with same-day events in Expo Park,” LAFC co-president and CBO Larry Freedman said in a statement.

“We are fortunate to be able to work with our partners at Metro and the Dodgers to provide the best possible alternatives for our fans and supporters attending the MLS Cup on Saturday.”

Jaime Jarrín visited LAFC wearing custom jersey

When the LAFC hosted D.C. United at Banc of California Stadium in August, they also welcomed Los Angeles Dodgers Spanish-language broadcaster Jaime Jarrín to the game.

Jarrín wore a custom LAFC jersey featuring No. 98, which represents the year when he was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame. The jersey was previously gifted to him at Dodger Stadium, and the match against D.C. United marked the first time he wore it.
