After snapping their two-game losing streak, the Los Angeles Dodgers now look to avoid dropping their first series since the San Francisco Giants won two of three at Oracle Park from April 30-May 1.

The Dodgers go for a series win with Justin Turner in the lineup a fourth consecutive game (three in a row after an off day). Dodgers manager Dave Roberts had previously outlined a plan to cautiously handle the All-Star third baseman, and noted Turner was not expected to play in all three games this weekend.

That Turner is bucking that is a positive sign he’s further distancing himself from right hamstring tightness. Furthermore, Turner is coming off a 3-for-3 effort in which he scored two runs, had two doubles, two RBI and one walk.

Turner and the Dodgers look to provide run support for Walker Buehler, who is 2-0 with a 4.35 ERA in two career starts against the Giants. Overall this season, the right-hander is 6-1 and has pitched to a 3.69 ERA, 3.22 FIP and 0.99 WHIP in 12 starts.

Buehler is coming off a dominant performance in which he recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts over eight strikeouts against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Buehler is opposed by Madison Bumgarner in what’s his 35th career game (34th start) against the Dodgers. Bumgarner is 15-12 with a 2.56 ERA in those previous outings. He’s largely been unable to solve Kiké Hernandez, who is a lifetime 23-for-45 with six doubles, four home runs and nine RBI against the southpaw.

Kyle Garlick makes his first career start, playing left field and hitting seventh. Garlick’s pinch-hit double in Saturday’s win was his first career MLB hit.

Dodgers lineup:

2B: Kiké Hernandez
1B: Max Muncy
3B: Justin Turner
RF: Cody Bellinger
CF: Chris Taylor
SS: Corey Seager
LF: Kyle Garlick
C: Austin Barnes
P: Walker Buehler

Giants lineup:

2B: Joe Panik
LF: Mike Yastrzemski
3B: Evan Longoria
1B: Pablo Sandoval
C: Stephen Vogt
RF: Kevin Pillar
SS: Brandon Crawford
CF: Steven Duggar
