The Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies begin their National League Division Series matchup at Citizens Bank Park before it shifts to Dodger Stadium for a minimum of one game.
The Phillies hold home-field advantage in the NLDS by virtue of finishing as the No. 2 seed in the league behind only the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers joined the Brewers and Phillies as division winners in the NL but had the third-best record among the group and thus did not earn a first-round bye in the postseason.
After playing the first two NLDS games at Citizens Bank Park, the series shifts to Dodger Stadium in the middle of next week.
First pitch in Game 3 is scheduled for 6:08 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 9. If necessary, Game 4 of the NLDS between the Phillies and Dodgers would be played Thursday, Oct. 10.
The start time for a potential Game 4 at Dodger Stadium is dependent on whether or not the Brewers and Chicago Cubs end in a sweep.
If both NLDS matchups reach a Game 4, first pitch at Dodger Stadium will be at 3:08 p.m. However, if Phillies-Dodgers is the lone NLDS game on the schedule that day, it will begin at 4:08 p.m. Regardless, fans could have some trouble arriving for the earlier-than-normal start time for a weekday game.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto is expected to start Game 3, and Tyler Glasnow is the probable in Game 4.
This year marks a sixth time in MLB postseason history the Dodgers are playing the Phillies. They last faced off in the NL Championship Series in 2008 and 2009, which saw the Phillies emerge victorious both times.
Philadelphia won four of six head-to-head meetings during the 2025 regular season.
