The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) announced it invested $7.4 million in programs and grants for 2025.

Funding supported over 60 unique nonprofits, Dodgers Dreamteam programming, Dodgers Dreamfields and community infrastructure with an emphasis on fire relief and recovery efforts for impacted communities in Altadena, Pasadena, and Pacific Palisades.

Guided by an approach to service and commitment to tackling the most pressing problems facing Los Angeles by improving education, healthcare, homelessness prevention and social justice for all, LADF has invested more than $76 million in its programs and grants to local organizations over the last decade, impacting more than 11 million youth and 300 nonprofits.

“Being champions is bigger than baseball. It means showing up for Los Angeles and using our platform to create real, lasting change,” LADF CEO Nichol Whiteman said in a statement.

“These investments reflect our commitment to championing young people, families, and communities when they need it most, especially those impacted by the wildfires. We are proud to lift up and stand beside so many incredible partners who strengthen our city and even the playing field for all Angelenos.”

Grants in 2025 were awarded to organizations focused on education, healthcare, social justice, and homelessness prevention. Grant awards impact major school districts, including Bellflower, Compton, Los Angeles, Glendale, Lynwood, Pasadena and more.

In addition to funding, LADF activates with grantees, offers in-kind support, co-hosts grantee events, digitally showcases its work, and conducts “Giving Moments” in Dodger Stadium to further highlight grantees to millions of fans throughout the season.

In 2026, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is shifting to a letter-of-intent grantmaking process, designed to streamline access to funding, build sustainable partnerships, and apply a capacity-building lens to philanthropy. The goal is to identify high-quality, mission-aligned organizations and help accelerate their impact. Visit dodgers.com/grants for updates.
