Some of the world’s biggest stars and former MLB players competed in the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, and it ended with Team Brooklyn defeating Team L.A. by a score of 15-13.

Among the stars playing were Bad Bunny, Andre Ethier, Hunter Pence, Quavo, JoJo Siwa, Chloe Kim, Action Bronson, Bryan Cranston, CC Sabathia, Jennie Finch and J.K. Simmons.

While Bad Bunny’s Team L.A. fell short of the victory, he drew a huge crowd with loud ovations and constant cheers. Bad Bunny also called on Vladimir Guerrero Sr. and David Ortiz to the field before having Gurrero Sr. pinch hit for him, which drew even more cheers from the fans.

Former San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence drew loud boos from the fans at Dodger Stadium when he stepped to the plate to face former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier.

Ethier threw the first pitch behind Pence to build some extra tension in the rivalry, but Hunter Pence ended up winning the battle by hitting a home run that nearly made it over the actual walls in the outfield.

As Pence was rounding the bases, he unbuttoned his Team Brooklyn Dodgers All-Star jersey to reveal a Giants team shirt.

WWE star The Miz beat out teammate Pence for the game MVP that was determined by fan applause, and he shared his thanks to fans on Twitter after the game.

The night ended with a performance from Inglewood native Becky G as part of the first-ever All-Star Extra Innings concert.

Dodgers prospects enjoyed MLB Futures Game

The Dodgers were represented by Diego Cartaya, Bobby Miller and Miguel Vargas in the 2022 MLB All-Star Futures Game at Dodger Stadium, with only the New York Yankees matching them in having three prospects selected to the showcase as well.

Each of the Dodgers’ Minor Leaguers started for the National League team, with Miller on the mound and pitching to Cartaya, and Vargas playing second base. Vargas batted fifth and Cartaya hit ninth in manager Mike Scioscia’s lineup.

“That was awesome,” Miller said of sharing the field with Cartaya and Vargas. “Hopefully one day it can be like that in the big leagues.”
