The Los Angeles Dodgers have several players in the mix for 2021 MLB All-Star Game voting, including Justin Turner, who is in third place among National League third basemen. Turner has trailed Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals’ Nolan Arenado in both voting updates.

With Phase 1 of All-Star Game voting concluding at 1 p.m. PT on Thursday, Turner is providing Dodgers fans with an opportunity to get a free NFT (non-fungible token). In order to receive Turner’s NFT, fans are asked to visit Dodgers.com/all-star and vote for him.

Upon filling out a ballot and entering information at the bottom of the page prior to submitting, there additionally is an option to share news of participation on Twitter. Doing so and following the Justin Turner Foundation will make fans eligible to receive a direct link to download the All-Star NFT.

Turner’s first career All-Star Game appearance came in 2017, when he earned a selection by breaking the Final Vote record.

Been diving into #NFTs these last few months and have been having a blast. Decided to hop in with my own FREE NFT that you will receive if you vote for me for the All Star game. Check out the instructions for details! https://t.co/gAZAKYHgTd@vaynersports @Dodgers pic.twitter.com/Rt5lJfOfuG

The Dodgers also are giving away a baseball signed by Turner to one lucky fan who meets the voting criteria.

Want an autographed @redturn2 baseball? Vote 5 times and reply to this tweet with a screenshot showing you’ve reached your daily limit using #DodgersASGSweepstakes for your chance to win! Rules: https://t.co/mExYMWhNVq pic.twitter.com/T2yUK3cqf6

For overall All-Star Game voting, fans can access the ballot at MLB.com, all 30 team sites, and the MLB and MLB Ballpark apps.

Voting can be conducted on up to five ballots per 24 hours via MLB platforms. Through Google, fans can complete one full ballot and vote for every position, or vote for up to 17 unique players per day. A specific player can only be voted for once per day via the Google ballot.

Turner: MLB needs to be consistent

While much of the talk surrounding the league at present time is their enforcement of rules against foreign substances and checking players between innings, Turner recently called on MLB to be more consistent in every aspect.

“Whether it’s the sticky stuff or the baseballs and how they’re making the baseballs. Again, just consistency, I think, is all anyone can ask for,” he said.

“Make all the balls the same, make whatever substance pitchers can use the same, and let everyone have the same playing field so it’s a fair game across the board and it’s not favoring any one group, I think is the goal,” Turner reiterated.
