Tickets to 2020 Los Angeles Dodgers FanFest were made available last week, and with that came details of logistical changes for the annual event at Dodger Stadium. Most notably, it will not be held on the field this year.

Construction to the pavilions and parking lots beyond the outfield walls has moved FanFest to Dodger Stadium parking lots P and N (outside of Top Deck and Right Field Reserve). The event still begins at 10 a.m. PT, regardless of weather. Parking remains free, and auto gates A, C & E open at 9:30 a.m

Although the Dodger Stadium renovation has moved FanFest to the parking lots, the event will still have a main stage for interviews with players and front office personnel. The day’s activities also are due to feature the same interactive games for all ages, merchandise sale and more.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) additionally is still holding a yard sale, with mystery bags containing an autographed baseball available for purchase.

Opening Day mini-plans, season tickets, premium tickets, individual and group tickets will be on sale during FanFest. Information on player autograph schedule and sale of those tickets will be made available at a later time.

All autograph session tickets benefit the LADF and support LADF programs. Fans will also have the option to upgrade their visit with VIP experiences featuring meet and greets, Q&As, as well as tours of the clubhouse and press box.

The tours will provide fans with a bird’s eye view of the $100 million renovation that’s underway. Construction began soon after the Dodgers were surprisingly eliminated from the National League Division Series, and remains on track to be completed by Opening Day.

Among the amenities and upgrades are the addition of a plaza in center field, two new sports bars, new children’s play area and elevators and escalators.

In addition to a plaza, center field will add a new batters eye area that fans will be able to watch the game from. It’s part of an overhauled pavilion that also will see the creation of standing room areas.

The Jackie Robinson statue that currently resides in left field will be relocated to the entrance of the new plaza in center field and be accompanied by a forthcoming Sandy Koufax statue.
