The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a small coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination clinic will be opened in the center field plaza at Dodger Stadium for the team’s June 11-16 homestand. The setup is in partnership with the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles Fire Department and MLB/s Vaccinate at the Plate Program.

The mobile clinic will be accessible by all ticketholders and vaccines will be administered from the time stadium gates open through the seventh inning. The first 1,000 fans to be vaccinated at the in-game Dodger Stadium mobile site will receive a voucher for two tickets to a future home game this season.

The Dodgers additionally are part of a sweepstakes through the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, where one fan will win a pair (two) of season tickets for the 2022 season. The contest is open to L.A. County residents 18 years and older that are receiving their first vaccine or who bringing a first-time vaccine recipient with them to their second dose appointment at designated locations.

The L.A. County Department of Public Health sweepstakes runs ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 10.

Dodger Stadium and the Dodgers have been involved in serving the local community throughout much of the pandemic. Last year, the team arranged one of the country’s largest COVID-19 testing sites before converting Dodger Stadium to a vaccination location.

With Reopening Day at Dodger Stadium around the corner on June 15, the team released a public service announcement of manager Dave Roberts, Julio Urias and David Price encouraging fans to get vaccinated.

Though not through an official team video, Dodgers part owner Magic Johnson previously did his part as well by publicly sharing his instances of receiving the first and second doses of a COVID vaccine.

As a team, the Dodgers reached the 85% vaccination threshold amongst Tier 1 individuals, which has allowed for loosened MLB health and safety protocols at home and on the road.
