Justin and Kourtney Turner hosted their final charity event in Southern California before heading off to Spring Training with the Boston Red Sox, which saw many of his former Los Angeles Dodgers teammates in attendance.

The Justin Turner Foundation held its annual Justin Turner Golf Classic, which was a sold-out event at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks. Among the stars at the event were Max Muncy, Evan Phillips, Chris Taylor, SportsNet LA analyst Jerry Hairston Jr., Corey Seager, Nick Punto, Andrew Whitworth and more.

The event is now in its seventh year, but there was still some history made as Ryan Pepiot hit the first-ever hole-in-one during the classic. “I’m at a loss for words right now,” Pepiot said in the video posted by Turner to Instagram.

After making the shot, Pepiot was congratulated by Turner, Hairston and Joe Kelly, who all witnessed the feat, and he was awarded with the ball and a bottle of Don Julio tequila.

The proceeds from the Golf Classic benefitted the Justin Turner Foundation, which plans to continue its work in the Los Angeles community despite its namesake signing with the Red Sox in free agency.

“It’s been special,” Turner said of his connection with the Los Angeles community. “And really, it’s almost an addiction to serving, helping and giving back as much as we can. We feel so fortunate so blessed to be in the position that we are in, and we feel like it’s a responsibility to utilize our platform that we’ve built over the years to be able to put together events like this to be able to raise money and give back to a lot of people in need.

“Obviously, the pandemic was tough, and there’s a lot of people still hurting and trying to recover, so it’s days like these that help people get back on their feet.”

As for Pepiot, he is hoping to make an impact with the Dodgers this season after making his MLB debut in 2022. The 25-year-old held a 3.47 ERA in 36.1 innings pitched, but he struggled to control his walks, which led to a nearly 17% walk rate, 5.42 FIP and 1.46 WHIP.

Miguel Rojas offers Dodgers tickets to Bad Bunny

Dodger Stadium has played home to some of the most well-known celebrities on the planet, and after Miguel Rojas saw the Dodgers being represented at the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards, Bad Bunny might be the next in attendance.

Rojas took note of Bad Bunny’s attire when the Puerto Rican native was accepting his award for “Un Verano Sin Ti,” the singer’s fourth album. Rojas took to social media and invited Bad Bunny to a game at Dodger Stadium, offering to cover the cost of tickets, and announced plans to use a record of his for a walk-up song.
