The Los Angeles Dodgers will host to their 12th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night at Dodger Stadium on Friday, June 13. Fans will enjoy a host of celebratory activities both before and after the 7:10 p.m. PT matchup against the San Francisco Giants.
The Dodgers are proud to continue their long standing partnership with LA Pride to host the Pride Night party in the center field plaza, beginning at 5:10 p.m. until first pitch. Produced by non-profit organization Christopher Street West Association, LA Pride is Southern California’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration and producer of L.A.’s official, original Pride parade for more than 50 years.
Out in the plaza, fans will be able to enjoy a variety of musical performances and once again have the opportunity to participate in a “Vogue Off.”
This year, Australian singer, drummer and producer G Flip is headlining performance on the center field plaza stage. G Flip makes high energy music that speaks to the masses and their most recent album took them on a huge worldwide tour, also securing them 9 ARIA awards and a GLAAD award nomination.
Guest judges for the Vogue off will include actress and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause who is married to G Flip, and GLAAD’s vice president of communications and talent, Anthony Allen Ramos.
Several notable guests are scheduled to be in attendance and participate in Pride Night, including British Olympian Tom Daley and his husband, Dustin Lance Black, an Academy Award-winning screenwriter and prominent LGBTQ+ rights activist, best known for Milk; Lance Bass, of *NSYNC fame and his husband Michael Turchin; and Jai Rodriguez, one of the original cast members on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., OutLoud Sports will once again host a kickball game in the outfield. OutLoud Sports is the nation’s original LGBTQAI+ and Allies recreational sports league, founded in 2007 and now serving over 60,000+ queer and allied players nationwide.
Following the game, fans will be treated to a special “Pride Night” drone performance.
In addition, all fans who purchase a special ticket pack at dodgers.com/LAPride will receive an exclusive Dodger LGBTQ+ jersey upon entering stadium gates.
Dodgers Pride hats
In 2022, the Dodgers began wearing special caps for Pride Night, which featured rainbow coloring inside the interlocking L.A. logo.
“The Dodgers have a long and proud history of diversity and inclusion,” Erik Braverman, Dodgers senior vice president of marketing, communications and broadcasting said at the time. “Our year-round commitment and partnership with the LGBTQ+ community is something the organization takes very seriously.”
Eight days after debuting them, the Dodgers and Giants made history as they took the field at Oracle Park in San Francisco wearing their respective team’s pride caps.
The Dodgers have worn the caps for every pride night since, and will likely wear them again this season.
