After going 3-2 on their road trip, the Los Angeles Dodgers open a seven-game homestand Friday for matchups against the San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds.

While the Dodgers have admitted roughly 15,000 fans for each home game thus far and will continue doing so for the time being, changes are coming to Dodger Stadium. Most notably is the creation of fully-vaccinated sections for Saturday’s game against the Padres.

Such seats are in loge 166 and 168, where social distancing will not be required and fans will be seated directly next to other parties.

The two sections are reserved for fully vaccinated fans (at least two weeks have passed since receiving their final vaccine dose) and children between the ages of 2 and 15 who can provide proof of having tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19) within 72 hours of admission. Children under the age of 2 do not need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

Face coverings must still be worn in the fully vaccinated-only sections, except while actively eating and/or drinking in the area. That is in line with the slate of Dodger Stadium health and safety protocols the Dodgers previously announced.

While the fully-vaccinated sections are only being offered for Saturday at present time, the Dodgers are opening additional concession stands. That amounts to Dueling Dogs, Bao and Bowls, Golden Road Brewing and the Jim Beam Bar, all in the renovated center field plaza area being accessible to fans for the first time this season.

Lil’ Sweet Chick on the field level will also be open. It joins other offerings such as California Pizza Kitchen and Buds & Burgers on the field level.

Shake Shack at Dodger Stadium

When DodgerBlue.com attended a Dodger Stadium tour for select members of the media, Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten revealed a Shake Shack location was added to the center field plaza.

“We have delivered everything we were hoping to deliver, and we couldn’t be prouder of it,” Kasten said of the center field renovation project. “We couldn’t be more excited about that addition (Shake Shack) to Dodger Stadium.”

Also still to open in Dodger Stadium is Dunkin’, which is a new Dodgers partner for the 2021 season. The multi-year agreement also brought a signature Dodgers latte to local Dunkin’ locations.
