Members of Los Angeles Dodgers and their significant others took advantage of the fact that the team is playing in the Seoul Series to sample some of the local South Korean street food at the Myeongdong Night Market.

Will Smith, Gavin Lux, James Outman, Alex Vesia were the players highlighted in the video shared by the Dodgers, and Chris Taylor and J.P. Feyereisen made appearances as well. Everyone in attendance got the chance to explore one of Seoul’s most popular Night Markets.

The cameras followed Smith, Lux, Outman and Vesia as they sampled various foods from pork belly to tornado potatoes, and even some octopus. The consensus seemed to be that the all food passed the taste test.

Outman lived up to his self-described reputation as being someone who enjoys sampling the local cuisine and not being too picky of eater.

“It was great. I love exploring around and seeing different cultures,” Outman said of Myeongdong Night Market and the Dodgers’ overall experience in South Korea.

“My favorite thing is seeing how the architecture is a little bit different than back home. The codes for buildings are different, so it’s interesting seeing that stuff and how it’s different from back home.”

Dodgers players taking in South Korean culture

Mookie Betts, Teoscar Hernández, and Miguel Rojas were among a group that toured the Gyeongbokgung Palace ahead of Opening Day.

The palace was built in 1395, and it is located in northern Seoul. It was built as the official palace and main seat of power for the Joseon dynasty and it is the largest of five palaces built by the dynasty.

It was the latest example of the Dodgers sharing new experiences together, which Betts believes

Prior to leaving Camelback Ranch, Brusdar Graterol, Bobby Miller, Michael Grove and Yoshinobu Yamamoto tried various Korean snacks to mixed feedback.
