Andy Pages and Jose Ramos are among the seven Los Angeles Dodgers prospects on the Glendale Desert Dogs rosters for the 2022 Arizona Fall League, and both were instrumental in a 4-3 win over the Peoria Javelinas.

Glendale was trailing 1-0 in the third inning when Pages hit a three-run homer. The long ball was his first of the fall. After the Javelinas pulled even in the bottom of the fifth, Ramos put the Desert Dogs up for good in the sixth inning with his first home run in Fall League play.

Pages and Ramos hit third and fourth, respectively, and went a combined 4-for-9 with two runs scored, four RBI, three strikeouts and the two home runs.

Following Glendale’s win at Peoria Sports Complex, Pages told Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com he’s thoroughly enjoyed being teammates with Ramos:

“We have a lot of fun because we’re both Latin. We come from the same culture. We have fun every time we play.”

That sentiment was echoed by Ramos, who has a high comfort level playing alongside Pages in the outfield:

“It’s more comfortable for me,” said Ramos, who followed Pages’ single with one of his own and is now hitting .379 and also has six RBIs. “I’ve known him for a long time so it’s really comfortable to play with him.”

Although Pages and Ramos are fellow Dodgers prospects, this is their first time ever playing on the same team since joining the organization.

Pages spent all of 2022 with Double-A Tulsa Drillers, where he batted .236/.336/.468 with 29 doubles, 26 home runs and 80 RBI in 132 games.

Ramos hit a combined .249/.339/.479 with 22 doubles, 25 home runs and 97 RBI while playing for the Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and High-A Great Lakes.

Dodgers prospects in Arizona Fall League

In addition to Pages and Ramos, the Dodgers are being represented in the Arizona Fall League by Hyun-il Choi, Tanner Dodson, Ben Harris, Emmet Sheehan and Jorbit Vivas. Triple-A Oklahoma City lead athletic trainer Chelsea Willette is also part of the Desert Dogs coaching staff.
