After splitting a two-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays, the Los Angeles Dodgers return to action on Friday for the start of a three-game set against the Colorado Rockies. The matchup represents L.A.’s final home series of the 2019 regular season.

Prior to first pitch, Dodgers legend Steve Garvey is slated to host the third and final “Way We Were” session of the 2019 season. Starting at 6:15 p.m. PT at the King’s Hawaiian Grill located in the left field plaza, the 10-time All-Star will take questions from fans.

What’s more, Garvey is expected to also sign autographs and take photos with fans ahead of the Dodgers and Rockies squaring off at 7:10 p.m. The setting makes for a perfect opportunity to enjoy offerings from King’s Hawaiian Grill while listening to moments in Dodgers history.

With a wide selection of menu items, King’s Hawaiian Grill has been a go-to spot for Dodgers fans looking to satisfy their cravings this season.

Among the many options available at the Grill are pulled pork sliders made with King’s Hawaiian original Hawaiian sweet rolls, smoked pork nachos, big island lava wings and the Hawaiian BBQ Dodger Dog served on a King’s Hawaiian hot dog bun with pulled pork and the company’s original sweet pineapple BBQ sauce.

The King’s Hawaiian Grill was added to Dodger Stadium at the start of the 2017 season and has been one of the more popular dining options for fans since. In addition to the “Way We Were” Q&A series, Garvey also hosts a “Grillin’ With Garv” series at the location.

Garvey has been a mainstay at Dodger Stadium this season, previously being inducted into the inaugural class of “Legends of Dodger Baseball while additionally attending the fifth annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala in June.

Having won the 1981 Roberto Clemente Award for his work in the community, Garvey has stayed active on this front, recently partnering with the Lifeletics Baseball Academy to form a Dodgers youth travel baseball program called the “So-Cal” Dodgers.

Garvey played 14 of 19 seasons with the Dodgers, was a member of four National League pennant-winning teams and the 1981 club that won the World Series. He ranks among the all-time Los Angeles leaders in hits (1,968; second), doubles (333; first), home runs (211; third), RBI (992; first) and games played (1,727; third).
