The Los Angeles Dodgers will begin their National League Division Series on Friday, Oct. 6. First pitch at Dodger Stadium is set for 7:31 p.m. PT. Game 2, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7, has a 6:08 p.m. PT start time. The NLDS will be exclusively televised on TBS.
Los Angeles received the prime time start for both days, as the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals play at 4:31 p.m. PT on Friday, and 2:38 p.m. on Saturday. The Dodgers don’t yet know their NLDS opponent but will come Wednesday night.
The Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Colorado Rockies in the National League Wild Card Game, with first pitch at Chase Field set for 5:08 p.m. That game will also be televised on TBS, as will the NL Championship Series.
The Dodgers concluded the regular season on a modest two-game winning streak and 8-2 in their last 10 games. They finished atop the Majors with a 104-58 record and therefore clinched home-field advantage through the World Series.
Los Angeles also held homefield in the 2015 NLDS, but were eliminated in five games by the New York Mets. The Dodgers advanced to the NLCS last October by defeating the Nationals on the road in a thrilling Game 5.
Clayton Kershaw to no surprise is starting Game 1 of the NLDS, while Rich Hill and Yu Darvish are expected to follow in Games 2 and 3, respectively.
The Dodgers sold out of all tickets for this year’s potential NLDS and NLCS games at Dodger Stadium. The team has not yet made World Series tickets available for purchase.
