In what may serve as a preview to the National League Championship Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals will meet for three games, beginning Friday, Sept. 17. The series finale was changed from a 10:35 a.m. PT start to 5 p.m., as ESPN added the contest to their weekly Sunday Night Baseball telecasts.

In addition to airing on ESPN, the game will be available on the WatchESPN, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Deportes Radio. Dan Shulman will handle play-by-play duties on television, and he’ll be joined by analysts Aaron Boone and Jessica Mendoza, plus reporter Buster Olney.

The Dodgers won back-to-back Sunday Night Baseball games, defeating the San Francisco Giants in walk-off fashion on June 30, then completing a sweep of the New York Mets at Citi Field with a shutout victory Aug. 6.

The weekend series in September at Nationals Park will include another national broadcast, as the Saturday, Sept. 16 game will exclusively air on FOX. First pitch in that game is set for 10:05 a.m. PT.

The Dodgers and Nationals figure to enter their matchup with the two-best records in the NL and two of the top three in baseball. Each team leads their respective division by a comfortable margin.

While the Dodgers are on a remarkable run, their last series loss came at the hands of the Nationals, who took two of three games at Dodger Stadium from June 5-7. Los Angeles salvaged the series with a win in the finale that featured a duel between Clayton Kershaw and Stephen Strasburg.

Last season, the Dodgers won the three-game series at Nationals Park, which included handing Strasburg his first loss of 2016.
