The Los Angeles Dodgers had three prospects from their High-A Rancho Cucamonga affiliate recognized, as pitcher Caleb Ferguson, first baseman Ibandel Isabel and outfielder D.J. Peters were included on the California League 2017 Postseason All-Stars team.

Peters was also named Cal League MVP and Rookie of the Year. The Glendora, Calif., native is in his first season with the Quakes since being selected by the Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2016 Draft.

Peters is batting .281/.382/.515 with 28 doubles, five triples, 24 home runs and 76 RBI through 124 games this season. He leads the circuit in slugging percentage, on-base plus slugging (.897), extra-base hits (57), walks (63) and total bases (242).

The 22-year-old is third in home runs, fourth in on-base percentage, sixth in RBI and eighth in total hits (132).

In addition to his prolific production at the plate, Peters is renowned for hitting two home runs off Madison Bumgarner in a single inning of a rehab start the left-hander was making.

Ferguson, currently on the seven-day disabled list, is 8-4 with a 2.43 ERA (first in Cal League) and 1.38 WHIP (seventh) in 24 games, including 23 starts. He has 133 strikeouts (third) against 54 walks in 117.1 innings pitched. Ferguson is also in his first season with the Quakes.

Isabel leads the Cal League with 27 home runs, and is hitting .262/.330/.499 with 14 doubles, one triple and 81 RBI in 113 games. He’s in his fourth professional season and like Ferguson and Peters, a first with the Quakes.
