Charlie Freeman has a significant say in what walk-up song Freddie Freeman uses, and that has his father due to use Bad Bunny during his second season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

“I kind of like the song ‘Baila Conmigo’ though,” Freeman said during Dodgers FanFest at Dodger Stadium. “Charlie wants to go ‘Tití Me Preguntó.’ I looked up the lyrics, the English version, and I’m like, I don’t know if I can really do that.

“He has no idea what the words mean. He likes to dance to the song. We had it playing on the way up here. There’s a clean version, so I think I can pull it off.”

Although a world hit, “Tití Me Preguntó” is a song about having multiple girlfriends, among other promiscuous behavior that proves problematic for the married Freeman.

“I showed my wife the lyrics and she wasn’t too thrilled,” he said with a laugh. “But I think that’s what we’re going to go with. He wants to do that, so I think we’re going to go with it.”

Freeman then quipped, “It really fits me.”

When previously discussing Charlie’s taste in music, Freeman explained it stems from his relationship with Ronald Acuña Jr. and other Latin players. Charlie often accompanies Freeman to the stadium, and he developed a bond with the Atlanta Braves All-Star.

Charlie Freeman picked Bad Bunny walk-up song in 2021

During the 2021 season, Charlie picked “Ni Bien Ni Mal” (“Neither Good Nor Bad”), also by Bad Bunny, as a walk-up song for Freeman.

Bad Bunny (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio in Puerto Rico) has become one of the globe’s biggest musicians and just wrapped up a record-setting world tour.

Miguel Vargas used “Tití Me Preguntó” as his walk-up song when making his MLB debut with the Dodgers last season.
