In recalling Josh Fields, Brock Stewart and Julio Urias on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers made a trio of corresponding roster moves. Among them was optioning outfielder Andrew Toles to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Relief pitchers Louis Coleman (right shoulder fatigue) and Adam Liberatore (left elbow inflammation, retroactive to July 30) were placed on the 15-day disabled list. Toles made his Major League debut on July 8 and hit .316/.395/.395 with three doubles and one RBI in 16 games (nine starts).

He received plenty of playing time of late as Yasiel Puig was limited by right hamstring soreness. The two of course now get a chance to reconnect in Oklahoma City.

Toles signed a Minor League contract with the Dodgers last October. He missed the entire 2015 season.

The speedy outfielder began the year with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, where Toles batted .370/.414/.500 with eight doubles, two triples and nine RBIs in 22 games. In 43 games with Double-A Tulsa, he hit .314/.363/.514 with 14 doubles, five home runs and 22 RBIs.

Toles then slashed .303/.333/.485 over eight games with Oklahoma City before his promotion to the Majors. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts recently lauded the 24-year-old for bringing a speed element to the roster that’s otherwise been absent this season.
