The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants, 4-2, on Saturday to extend their winning streak to seven games and put them within within reach of sweeping their rivals.

The win also gave L.A. a season-best 10th in a row at home, and they have won 18 of their last 20 games.

Alex Wood pitched well for the Giants through the first two innings and retired five straight via the strikeout at one point. But that streak ended when he faced Mookie Betts for the second time of the game in the third inning.

With two outs in the inning, Betts gave the Dodgers a 1-0 lead with a solo home run. The homer was the 200th of Betts’ career.

Trea Turner then followed with a solo blast to extend the lead and his hitting streak to 10 games. It was the fifth time this season the Dodgers have gone back-to-back.

The Dodgers’ lead remained 2-0 until Cody Bellinger sparked a two-out rally with a base hit in the sixth inning. Gavin Lux followed that by driving in Bellinger on a line drive to the right field corner for his fifth triple of the season.

Freddie Freeman then slugged the team’s third home run of the game, giving the Dodgers a 4-0 lead in the seventh inning and extending his hitting streak to 11 games.

Saturday was the first time the trio of Dodgers superstars Betts, Turner and Freeman all homered in the same game.

Dodgers pitching strong throughout the game

Julio Urías started for the Dodgers and pitched six shutout innings while giving up only two hits. He was then followed by Caleb Ferguson and Evan Phillips, who each pitched a scoreless inning.

With Craig Kimbrel unavailable, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts turned to Reyes Moronta in the ninth, and after retiring two hitters, he ran into some trouble by walking two.

Roberts then went to Price, who gave up two hits that scored two runs, with both charged to Moronta, but he was able to pick up his first save of the season with a strikeout of Austin Slater.
