As the Los Angeles Dodgers continued to add to their roster with the reported signing of Teoscar Hernández to a one-year, $23.5 million contract, Freddie Freeman and his wife Chelsea were among those on hand at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 81st Golden Globe Awards.
The Freemans attending “Hollywood’s biggest party” was documented by members of the Dodgers social media team. In a video shared online, Freeman said he was excited to attend the 2024 Golden Globes to both recognize the film industry and have an opportunity for a night out with Chelsea.
“They’re entertainers that make you happy with their work. They’re unbelievable at their work, so just kind of to see them in their element and you know, see their success tonight. It’s going to be fun to watch.”
Chelsea Freeman added: “We are going to the Golden Globes for the first time ever, so I’m super excited.”

Jo Koy hosted this year’s Golden Globe Awards, which included Will Ferrell, America Fererra and Oprah Winfrey among the presenters. Golden Globe winners received a new trophy design. “Oppenheimer,” “Barbie,” “Succession” and “The Bear” each won multiple awards.
