The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Dodger Stadium will return to full capacity on June 15 in coordination with the state of California reopening plan.

Tickets for full-capacity games, starting June 15 and continuing through the remainder of the 2021 season, go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 27, at 4:00 p.m. PT, at Dodgers.com/Tickets.

However, all tickets sold continue to be subject to any restrictions or limitations on capacity or attendance that may be established or revised by state, county, or city authorities at any time. Refunds or exchanges may be required for impacted games.

For the 11 games at Dodger Stadium prior to June 15, the team will continue with distanced pods and fully-vaccinated sections. The Dodgers have expanded fully-vaccinated sections to include the right field side of the reserve level, right field side of the field level, right field pavilion and Home Run Seats.

The Dodgers have sold out all 22 home games thus far and are averaging more than 15,000 in attendance. Although L.A. County recently moved into the yellow tier, the Dodgers were not able to take advantage in terms of attendance because of social distancing requirements.

That additionally prevented the team from filling Dodger Stadium to the previously-accepted 33% capacity. Thus, they attempted to mitigate that by selling tickets in fully-vaccinated sections, where fans are not spaced out in separate pods.

“That’s a geometry problem,” Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten recently noted. “So the only way to get our numbers up are to have sections where there’s no distancing. Like these fully-vaccinated sections. So the more we can do of this, the better.

“It will allow us to reach the numbers that L.A. County has allowed us to have but won’t change the distancing. It’s not just them. It’s the county, the state, CDC.”

Dodgers tickets

The Dodgers are currently selling tickets for home series with the San Francisco Giants (May 27-30) and St. Louis Cardinals (May 31-June 2).

Dodgers tickets for the games on against the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies (June 11-14) will go on sale on Tuesday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. PT.
