Dodger Stadium Food: Taqui Changas, Chicago Dog, Lakers Nation Cocktail To Be Offered

The Los Angeles Dodgers went 7-2 on their road trip and concluded it by defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks to avoid dropping a series for the first time since losing two of three to the Washington Nationals at Dodger Stadium from June 5-7.

A return to Chavez Ravine signals new food and drink options that will be offered during various stretches of the five-game homestand. It begins with a three-game set against the San Diego Padres, whom the Dodgers are 7-2 against this season.

The series is the first between the two teams since managers Dave Roberts and Andy Green exchanged words and benches cleared at Petco Park.

During the weekend set with the Padres, the Dodgers will sell “Taqui Changas” at Elysian Park Grill locations (Field sections 22 and 23, Reserve section 31). The dish is flour tortillas stuffed with smoked pork carnitas, California pepper sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, shaved lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream.

Following an off day, the Dodgers then begin a two-game series against the Chicago White Sox. Their arrival comes with a “Chicago Dog” that will be available at all Extreme Loaded Dog locations inside Dodger Stadium.

The all-beef hot dog is served on a poppy seed bun, and topped with sport peppers, neon green relish, diced onions, spicy mustard, a pickle spear and tomato slices.

Also during the White Sox series, the Dodgers will offer a “Lakers Nation” cocktail at the bars on Field sections 2, 49 and 50, Loge sections 107 and 161, Reserve section 11 and Top Deck section 5.

The alcoholic beverage has white rum, lemonade, cranberry juice, blue Curacao and is served with a lemon wedge. The speciality cocktail is in honor of Lakers Night, which ticket packages are available for. They come with a ticket to the game and a co-branded Dodgers/Lakers t-shirt.
