Los Angeles Dodgers broadcasters Tim Neverett and Rick Monday will be on the call for Spectrum SportsNet LA telecasts of remaining Cactus League games on the 2022 Spring Training schedule.

Play-by-play man Joe Davis and new analyst Erick Karros were the Dodgers broadcast crew for each of the team’s first two games this spring. Davis is expected to resume his duties for the exhibition Freeway Series from April 3-5.

Including Monday’s matchup with the Chicago White Sox, the Dodgers have 12 Cactus League games that Neverett and Monday will broadcast. Seven of those are being played at Camelback Ranch, and four of the 12 are night games.

Neverett is entering his fourth season as a Dodgers broadcaster. Prior to being hired by the team in December 2018, he worked as the radio play-by-play voice of the Boston Red Sox for three seasons.

Neverett worked radio and television broadcasts for the Pittsburgh Pirates for seven years before he joined the Red Sox.

Monday is now in his 29th year as a Dodger broadcaster and 37th season with the organization, eight of which were as a player. He was part of three National League pennants (1977, 1978 and 1981) and won the World Series with the Dodgers in 1981.

Prior to joining the Dodgers’ broadcast booth in 1993, Monday worked as a sports anchor for KTTV.

Although it came while playing for the Chicago Cubs, Monday is remembered for saving a United States of America flag from being burned by two protesters in the outfield at Dodger Stadium.

New Dodgers broadcasters

In addition to Karros, Adrián Gonzalez, Jessica Mendoza, José Mota and Dontrelle Willis were announced as new additions to the Dodgers broadcasting crew for this season. They will hold various roles across SportsNet LA, AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio and KTNQ 1020 AM.

What channel is SportsNet LA?

The Dodgers’ exclusive network is available to Charter Spectrum, AT&T TV, DirecTV, U-verse TV, and AT&T TV NOW subscribers.

SportsNet LA is channel 789 for a high definition feed through Spectrum, and channel 44 for standard. Local AT&T TV and DirecTV customers can find SportsNet LA on channel 690.

Spectrum customers in San Luis Obispo can find SportsNet LA on channels 773 (HD) and 44 (SD). The network is channel 44 for Porterville customers.

SportsNet LA on AT&T U-Verse is channels 1780 (HD) and 780 (SD).
