The Los Angeles Dodgers were selected for eight national TV broadcasts on Fox or FS1 for the 2022 regular season, beginning with Saturday’s matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

All but one of the aforementioned telecasts will additionally air on Fox Deportes. The lone omission is when the Dodgers play a home game with the San Francisco Giants on Saturday, July 23, which will only be carried by Fox.

That is among six Dodgers games on Saturdays that will be exclusively televised for by Fox for a national audience as part of their “Baseball Night in America” programming. The remaining two FS1 broadcasts will be carried by SportsNet LA as well.

Whether an FS1 or Fox broadcast, each of the network’s games additionally will simulcast on the Fox Sports app. While Fox announced a robust slate of national broadcasts for the 2021 season, games were not yet assigned for the final two weekends in September.

Fox Sports is entering their 27th season of covering MLB games with a lead broadcast team of Joe Davis, John Smoltz, Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal.

Davis takes over for Joe Buck, who joined ESPN as their new voice of “Monday Night Football.” “If you had asked me when I was 10 what I wanted to do when I grew up, I would’ve told you ‘Call the World Series.’ So when I say this is a dream-come-true, I really mean it,” Buck said in a statement last month. “One of the best parts about this is the team I get to work with.

“Obviously Smoltzy, I’ve had a blast getting to know John and building such a comfort together in the booth these last few years. He, Kenny and Tom along with our producer Pete Macheska and director Matt Gangl are all superstars – the absolute best at what they do.

“They’ve been so welcoming to me through the years as I’ve worked more and more with their group. It’s all about the people you’re with, and I’m really lucky in that regard.”
