The Los Angeles Dodgers came from behind to earn a walk-off win against the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card Game, and now have a date with the San Francisco Giants in the National League Division Series. It’s the first ever postseason matchup between the storied rivals.

The Giants finished 107-55, while the Dodgers were right behind them at 106-56 and had their streak of NL West titles snapped at eight. San Francisco and L.A. boasted the top two records in baseball this season.

As a result, the Giants secured home-field advantage throughout the postseason. Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS will be played at Oracle Park on Friday and Saturday. If necessary, the Giants would also host Game 5 on Thursday, Oct. 14.

NLDS Game 3 will be played at Dodger Stadium on Monday, and if necessary, Game 4 is Tuesday.

Walker Buehler, who was not included on the Dodgers’ postseason roster for the Wild Card, is due to start Game 1 of the NLDS on regular rest. He will be followed by Julio Urias taking the mound on two days of extra rest.

The Giants are expected to counter with Logan Webb in Game 1, and Kevin Gausman for the second game of the series. Max Scherzer is likely to start Game 3 for the Dodgers, while the Giants have not yet identified their probable.

The two teams were nearly even against each other during the regular season, with the Giants winning 10 of the 19 head-to-head matchups, however the Dodgers outscored them 80-78.

TBS is the exclusive home of the NL playoffs, and Brian Anderson, Ron Darling and Lauren Shehadi are the broadcasting crew for the matchup between the Dodgers and Giants.
