First pitch at Chase Field for Monday’s Game 3 of the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks is officially set for 7:08 p.m. PT. It will be televised exclusively on TBS. The time was locked in by the Boston Red Sox forcing the Houston Astros to a Game 4 in the ALDS.

Had each ALDS ended in a sweep, the Dodgers and Diamondbacks would have begun Game 3 of their series at 6:08 p.m. PT. Should Diamondbacks stave off elimination, Game 4 will be set for a 6:08 p.m. start time on Tuesday.

Also if necessary, the series would shift back to Dodger Stadium for a Game 5 on Thursday, Oct. 12. That would begin at 6:08 p.m., or 5:08 p.m. if the Washington Nationals and Chicago Cubs have concluded their NLDS matchup.

The Dodgers currently hold a 2-0 series lead in the DS for a third time since the postseason field expanded in 1995.

They completed sweeps in each of the previous two instances, defeating the Cubs on the road in 2008, and eliminating the St. Louis Cardinals at Dodger Stadium in 2009. If the Dodgers are to add to their list of sweeps they’ll need to find success against Zack Greinke.

They’ve fared well against the right-hander since he signed a record-breaking contract with the Diamondbacks, but Greinke did go 13-1 with a 2.87 ERA in 18 home starts this season. He’s coming off what amounted to a subpar start in the NL Wild Card Game.

The Diamondbacks are 6-0 all-time at home when facing elimination. Yu Darvish is taking the mound for the Dodgers on Monday night.
