Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani & Tyler Glasnow Among Dodgers On MLB Network’s List Of Top Performers From 2025 Postseason

Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, Roki Sasaki and Freddie Freeman were among the Los Angeles Dodgers players included in MLB Network’s ranking of the top 20 postseason performers of 2025.

Yamamoto took the No. 1 spot, with Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Ohtani, Trey Yesavage, Ernie Clement, Addison Barger, George Springer, Aaron Judge, Jorge Polanco and Glasnow rounding out the top 10.

The rest of the list consists of Jackson Chourio (No. 11), Tarik Skubal, Josh Naylor, Sasaki, Andrés Muñoz, Cal Raleigh, Michael Busch, Freeman, Nico Hoerner and Cam Schlittler.

Unsurprisingly, half of the list features Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays players. Both teams had incredible playoff runs and met in the World Series, which went to seven games. Though, one notable snub was Will Smith despite setting a World Series record for most innings caught and his decisive home run in Game 7.

The Dodgers won back-to-back elimination contests on the road to become baseball’s first repeat champion in 25 years.

Dodgers ranked in top-20 performers from 2025 postseason

No. 1: Yoshinobu Yamamoto

Yamamoto went 5-1 with a 1.45 ERA and 0.78 WHIP in six playoff appearances (five starts).

He became the first pitcher in World Series history to win three times on the road, including Games 6 and 7, en route to being named MVP.

No. 3: Shohei Ohtani

Ohtani hit .265/.405/.691 with three doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 14 RBI in 84 plate appearances across 17 postseason games.

As a pitcher, he went 2-1 with a 4.43 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 12.4 strikeouts per nine in 20.1 innings over four starts.

No. 10: Tyler Glasnow

Glasnow posted a 1.69 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 10.5 strikeouts per nine in 21.1 innings pitched across six playoff appearances (three starts).

No. 14: Roki Sasaki

Sasaki posted an 0.84 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with three saves in 10.2 innings pitched across nine playoff appearances. His emergence helped solidify a Dodgers bullpen that otherwise had been a question mark heading into the postseason.

No. 18: Freddie Freeman

Freeman hit .221/.338/.382 with five doubles, two home runs and three RBI in 80 plate appearances across 17 playoff games.

Freeman memorably hit a walk-off home run in the 18th inning to help the Dodgers defeat the Blue Jays in Game 3 of the World Series.
