Will Smith & Landon Knack Attend L.A. Kings Game For 2024 Dodgers Night

Will Smith and Landon Knack made the trip to Crypto.com Arena with the 2024 World Series Trophy to represent the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Los Angeles Kings game.

It was part of the Kings’ annual Dodgers Night to celebrate L.A.’s baseball team, just as the Dodgers hold their own annual night to celebrate the Kings.

The Kings have previously brought the Stanley Cup to Dodger Stadium after their Championship wins in 2012 and 2014. Now the Dodgers had the chance to show off their World Series trophy to the Kings after their 2020 trophy was not part of the next Dodgers Night.

Who needs these @LAKings x @Dodgers socks?! 🙋‍♂️

A Dodgers player did not participate in the ceremonial puck drop prior to the game as they have traditionally. However, Knack did get to take part in the tradition of hitting the Kings’ drum.

Last year, Mookie Betts was in attendance for the ceremonial puck drop, joining a long list of those who’ve had that unique honor. In recent years Tony Gonsolin, Jaime Jarrín, Chase Utley, Steve Yeager, Bill Russell and Kiké Hernandez all have had the opportunity.

However, as part of the celebration this season, all fans in attendance were given a special pair of Dodgers and Kings themed socks. Those who purchased a special ticket package were also given a Dodgers and Kings co-branded bobblehead featuring Kings left winger and Thousand Oaks native Trevor Moore.

Moore grew up as both a Dodgers fan and Kings fan, and with his gritty style of play, he’s been embraced by his city as one of the stars of the franchise.

Kings pick up win on Dodgers night

With a tie game and just 5:48 remaining, Adrian Kempe put the Kings ahead with a goal that ended up being the game winner.

The 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning gave the Kings their fourth consecutive win and they’ve won 12 of their previous 16 games.

Mikey Anderson scored the other Kings goal while Darcy Kuemper made 34 saves.
