Where To Find Dodgers World Series Mural With Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani & Fernando Valenzuela

The Los Angeles Dodgers capped off one of the most memorable seasons in franchise history by defeating the New York Yankees to capture their eighth World Series title.

The Dodgers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the Fall Classic after Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam that was reminiscent to Kirk Gibson’s game-winning home run during the 1988 World Series.

It was an emotional night for several reasons as the Dodgers also paid tribute to franchise icon Fernando Valenzuela, who passed away earlier in the week.

Famed artist Jonas Never painted a new Dodgers mural featuring Freeman, Gibson and Valenzuela that can be found in Elysian Valley, commonly known as Frogtown.

The mural also features Shohei Ohtani, who struggled during the World Series due to a partially dislocated left shoulder but otherwise was the Dodgers’ best player this year.

The two-way star became the first player in MLB history to record at least 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season, and now is in line to win his third career MVP Award.

Never previously painted a mural of Valenzuela in Elysian Valley that went up shortly after his death. He also painted a mural at Dodger Stadium celebrating the Dodgers’ 2020 World Series win.

Other work by Never includes a Joe Kelly mural from the 2020 World Series ceremony and a painting for Adidas that celebrated the Dodgers’ move from Brooklyn.

Where is the Dodgers World Series mural?

The Dodgers World Series mural featuring Freeman, Gibson, Ohtani and Valenzuela is located not too far from Dodger Stadium. The address is 1647 Blake Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90031.
