The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a split-squad sweep over the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, and now shift gears to host the Colorado Rockies at Camelback Ranch.

The Dodgers are 8-2 in Cactus League play thus far, still undefeated at home. First pitch on Sunday is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. PT, and will be televised on SportsNet L.A.

Gavin Stone takes the mound for his third appearance (second start) of the spring. He’s shown consistent bumps in velocity with solid feel for his changeup. The right-hander most recently tossed 1.2 innings against the Chicago White Sox, striking out two, with one earned run allowed.

Stone is vying for the fifth spot in the Dodgers starting rotation, and his early run of results is building a case for himself.

Dinelson Lamet is among the Dodgers pitchers who are scheduled to appear against the Rockies. It would mark the first game of the spring for Lamet, who was signed a Minor League contract and delayed in reporting for Spring Training due to a Visa issue.

Michael Grove, T.J. McFarland, Gus Varland, Stephen Gonsalves and Kevin Gowdy also are expected to pitch Sunday.

Austin Gomber gets the ball for the Rockies, making his second Spring Training start. In his debut outing against the Los Angeles Angels, the left-hander pitched a scoreless inning, allowing one hit with one hit batter.

The 30-year-old landed just 12 of his 21 pitches for strikes, an unusual line for him, as he uses a command-heavy approach. In 2023, Gomber struckout just 87 batters in 139 innings pitched (27 starts), a difficult stance in a league when missing bats is a coveted tool.

The Dodgers send out a loaded lineup against the Rockies, featuring their big three in Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman.

Andy Pages gets the start in center field against Gomber, a great sign as he continues to perform well this spring with his power bat and advanced approach at the plate.
