The final MLB All-Star Game voting update was released six days prior to National League and American League starters being revealed, and the Los Angeles Dodgers are still without a leading vote-getter at any of the positions.

Corey Seager, who paced all shortstops when the first update was released, has been behind Zack Cozart of the Cincinnati Reds each of the past three weeks. That was despite a stretch where Seager heated up at the plate while Cozart struggled and landed on the 10-day disabled list.

Seager himself has recently dealt with injury, as he’s missed the past two games due to a Grade 1 right hamstring strain. He’s batting .298/.403/.506 with 19 doubles, 12 home runs and 39 RBI in 73 games.

Cozart leads with 1,915,806 votes, while Seager has 1,657,732 votes. Seager made the 2016 All-Star Game as a reserve on the NL roster. He presumably will be joined in a similar role this year by Justin Turner.

While the Dodgers’ hot-hitting third baseman is in the midst of a career year, it has not been enough to overtake Colorado’s Nolan Arenado or Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs.

Turner has 1,075,524 votes, while Arenado is in second place with 1,920,610 votes, and Bryant’s 1,978,692 votes pace the group.

Similarly, there’s been little traction gained by Yasmani Grandal, as he’s held steady behind San Francisco’s Buster Posey and Yadier Molina of the St. Louis Cardinals. Grandal is now fourth among catchers, with 749,923 votes.

Posey easily leads his counterparts at 2,530,713 votes. No other catcher has more than roughly 1.2 million votes.

Yasiel Puig has remained on the peripheral of fan voting for All-Star outfielders. With 625,565 votes, he’s risen ever so slightly from 14th to 12th.

Fan voting for the 2017 All-Star Game concludes Thursday, June 29 at 8:59 p.m. PT. Complete AL and NL 2017 All-Star teams will be unveiled Sunday on ESPN, July 2, beginning at 4 p.m. PT.

The AL team will have nine elected starters, while the NL team will have eight fan-elected starters. Pitchers and catchers for both teams — 23 for the NL and 22 for the AL — will be determined by a combination of player balloting and selections made by the Commissioner’s Office.

Following the announcement of both All-Star rosters, fans will have the opportunity to vote for the final player for each league’s roster. Fans will cast their selection(s) from a group of five players from each league.
