The Los Angeles Dodgers will once again be represented at Crypto.com Arena as the Los Angeles Kings host their annual game to recognize the MLB franchise on Jan. 14 for a matchup against the New Jersey Devils.

The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive co-branded sunglasses, and ticket packs are available that come with an exclusive Dodgers and Kings co-branded jersey shirt. Tickets are available for purchase through the Kings’ website.

The ticket packs start at $54 for the 300 level, $101 for the 200 level and $127 for the 100 level. Fans who purchase tickets will also have the option to choose from a medium or extra-large shirt.

Last season during Dodgers Night, the Kings had Jaime Jarrín participate in the ceremonial puck drop before they faced off against the defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning.

Previously, Chase Utley represented the Dodgers in 2021. Prior to that, Steve Yeager and Bill Russell dropped the puck during Dodgers Night in 2019, and Kiké Hernandez held the honor in 2018.

It has not been announced who will represent the Dodgers this year.

It should be a fun matchup as both teams have played competitive hockey this season, which has put them in contention for a division title.`It is also a rematch of the 2011-12 Stanley Cup Finals that saw the Kings win their first championship in club history.

The Kings are currently second in the Pacific Division with a 21-13-6 (48 points) record, trailing the Las Vegas Golden Nights, who sit atop the division at 26-12-2 (54 points). The Devils are second in the Metropolitan Division at 23-11-2 (49 points) and trail the Carolina Hurricanes, who hold a record of 25-6-6 (56 points).

Puck drop for Dodgers Night hosted by the Kings is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Kings trolled Jose Altuvé during video segment

The Kings began their 2022-23 season on the same day the Dodgers started their brief postseason run, and with both teams playing meaningful games on the same day, the hockey club showed their support.

The Kings played a look-a-like segment on their scoreboard featuring Dodgers players. Included was Justin Tunrer, Tony Gonsolin and Max Muncy, who each had their photo shown next to a fan in the building.

At the end of the segment, Houston Astros’ second baseman José Altuve was shown, and after he received some boos from the fans, the Kings placed a trash can next to him on the screen.

The Astros, of course, defeated the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series before it was revealed the team conducted a sign-stealing scandal with trash cans at the forefront of the system.
