In partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) is presenting the third annual Dodgers All-Access on Thursday, Sept. 1, at Dodger Stadium.

The event, which provides guests with an opportunity to go behind the scenes with the Dodgers, is being held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. PT. “While most people enjoy watching and talking about the Dodgers, few have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the players, coaches and executives,” LASEC president Kathryn Schloessman said.

“This is a great opportunity for guests to go ‘behind-the-scenes’ and hear firsthand stories about playing and being part of the Dodgers organization.”

The scheduled events on the evening includes two panel discussions with current and former Dodgers players, coaches and executives.

Adrian Gonzalez, Joc Pederson and Justin Turner are among those expected to participate. So too are Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and general manager Farhan Zaidi, both of whom were in attendance last year.

Guests will have the opportunity to step hit in the Dodgers batting cages, throw in the club’s bullpen, tour the stadium, bid on memorabilia and take photos throughout Dodger Stadium. What’s more, dinner will be served on the infield.

Several Dodgers legends, including, Ron Cey, Steve Garvey, Orel Hershiser and Tommy Lasorda will be on hand. Hershiser is emceeing the program along with Time Warner Cable SportsNet LA John Hartung.

Individual tickets are $550 each, tables are $5,000 and additional sponsorships are available. More information can be found by visiting www.dodgers.com/allaccess or calling 213-236-2393. Proceeds from the event will be split between the Dodger Foundation and LASEC.

For the second consecutive year an Oklahoma City Dodgers player was named to the All-Pacific Coast League Team, with third baseman Rob Segedin taking home the honors in 2016. Austin Barnes was named to the 2015 All-PCL team.

Segedin becomes the 10th Oklahoma City player to make the All-PCL team since Oklahoma City joined the league in 1998. Segedin was also named a midseason All-Star this year, his first in the Dodgers organization.

In 103 games with OKC, Segedin hit .319/.392/.598 with 21 home runs and 69 RBIs. His slugging percentage and on-base plus slugging (.989) both rank first in the Pacific Coast League, while Segedin’s batting average and on-base percentage are fourth.

Since being called up on Aug. 7, Segedin has hit .268/.304/.439 with two home runs and 12 RBIs over 18 games (10 starts). He went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in his Dodgers debut, setting a franchise record for most RBIs in a Major League debut.

Segedin has fared particularly well against left-handed pitching, hitting .313 with a home run in 16 at-bats. He has not only impressed at the plate since his call up, but Segedin has also proved serviceable at first base, third base, left field and right field.

The New Jersey native was drafted in the third round of the 2010 draft by the New York Yankees out of Tulane University. Los Angeles acquired Segedin from the Yankees in exchange infielder Ronald Torreyes and pitcher Tyler Olson.
