Official Los Angeles Dodgers hats for the Home Run Derby, workout day and 2025 MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta are now available, with all teams sharing a similar design template.
After four seasons of custom National League and American League uniform designs, this year’s All-Star Game is reverting to its traditional look of all players wearing their respective home or away team uniform. However, the practice of coming up with new looks for the All-Star Game has continued, but is limited to hats, socks and some other apparel and accessories.
However, creative freedom afforded to the design of the hats is pretty limited in scope. The 2025 MLB All-Star Game cap by New Era adhere pretty closely to each team’s traditional look with minor changes. The front panel has been separated into two distinct pieces, with two stars stitched into the top portion.
Each hat also features a color contrasting bill and top button that is consistent with their uniform design.
The Dodgers’ design consists of their traditional blue for the primary color with white accents.
There is an additional cap design that will be worn for the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game workout day, which is where the energy for a more offbeat design was diverted.
The NL and AL share very similar designs with red bills and top buttons, along with white stars. The only difference is the color of the panels, with the NL sporting a conventional shade of blue and the AL displaying a navy blue.
Both hats also feature the 2025 All-Star Game logo and vent holes on the side panels.
The Atlanta Braves are hosting the 95th Midsummer Classic on Sunday, July 15. It marks the third time that the Braves host an MLB All-Star Game, but their first at Truist Park, which opened in 2017.
Dodgers in the All-Star Game?
The Dodgers are on course to be represented by Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith, Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernández in the NL lineup. The second 2025 MLB All-Star Game voting update features all four still leading at their respective positions.
Ohtani is the leading vote-getter among all NL players, second overall only to New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge.
