The Los Angeles Dodgers resume play Friday night with a matchup against the New York Mets at Citi Field. The opener of the three-game series will be streamed exclusively by Apple TV+ and isn’t available on SportsNet LA or other networks.

For the Dodgers, it is their second appearance on Apple TV+ this season. The club previously earned a 7-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Dodger Stadium on April 28.

Wayne Randazzo is handling play-by-play for the stream and is joined by analyst Dan Plesac along with reporter Heidi Watney. Willis is in his second season as a Dodgers analyst for SportsNet LA.

“Friday Night Baseball” is in its second year of a streaming rights agreement with MLB. The Dodgers had four games on Apple TV+ during the inaugural 2022 season, beginning with their Jackie Robinson Day matchup against the Cincinnati Reds.

L.A. made later appearances in June and September, including for a matchup against the Cardinals when Albert Pujols hit the 699th and 700th home runs of his career.

“Friday Night Baseball” programming this season includes pregame and postgame coverage, with hosts Lauren Gardner and Sierra Santos, analysts Xavier Scruggs and Matt Joyce, and journalist Russell Dorsey. Former umpires Brian Gorman and Dale Scott also are part of Apple TV+ streams to help explain new MLB rules.

How to watch Dodgers games for free on Apple TV+

“Friday Night Baseball” games are available to fans with internet access across devices where Apple TV+ can be found, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K and HD, and on tv.apple.com, along with smart TVs, gaming consoles and cable boxes.

One change from the first season of “Friday Night Baseball” is that fans now need to have a paid subscription to Apple TV+ in order to watch MLB games. The streaming service is available for $6.99 per month with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers only.

Apple additionally is offering a two-month free trial for the streaming service to new and qualified returning subscribers.
