Voting for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game at Globe Life Field is officially underway to determine the eight position players and designated hitter for both the American League and National League.

The voting process features two phases, with the first determining which players will advance to the next round before the starter is determined in phase two.

The top overall vote getter in each league will automatically advance to a starting role and skip phase two, while the rest of the finalists will battle it out in the second round.

For the remaining positions not filled by the top vote getters, the top two players for each of the infield positions in each league and the top two designated hitter finalists advance to the next round.

For the outfield, the top six players in each league advance, unless the top vote getter is an outfielder, in which case the top four players, after the top vote getter, advance.

Phase one allows fans to vote up to five times per day with each valid email address, while that will be limited to once per day in the next phase.

The second phase will begin at 9:00 p.m. PT on June 30 and end at 9:00 p.m. PT on July 3.

The Texas Rangers are hosting the All-Star Game for the first time in their new stadium that opened in 2020. The last time the Rangers were chosen as the host city for the Midsummer Classic was back in 1995 in Arlington.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game is on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Fox is going to exclusively broadcast the game from Globe Life Field.
