FOCO Selling Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead For Dodgers Pitching Debut

FOCO is selling a new Shohei Ohtani bobblehead that celebrates his Los Angeles Dodgers pitching debut and return to the mound after a second career Tommy John surgery.

The bobblehead portrays Ohtani in the home Dodgers uniform and in a pitching pose. A thematic backdrop includes the Dodgers’ logo, a star accent and “RETURN TO THE MOUND” text display to further signify the highly-anticipated moment.

Across the front of the newest Ohtani bobblehead from FOCO are “SHO TIME” and “JUNE 16, 2025” text displays. The bobblehead is limited to a production run of 225 units and won’t be restocked once quantities sell out.

Shohei Ohtani, FOCO

FOCO also has an Ohtani bobblehead for his 250 career home runs milestone still for sale. He achieved that feat this past weekend with a multi-homer game against the San Francisco Giants.

Ohtani started Monday night in his first Major League game as a pitcher since Aug. 23, 2023.

Ohtani’s return to pitching came somewhat as a surprise, given the Dodgers initially said he was due to face hitters in another live batting practice session this week. However, Ohtani voiced confidence in his readiness to pitch in an actual game, and the Dodgers’ medical staff, including Dr. Neal ElAttrache, approved of the big step forward.

“Just talking to Mark (Prior), Andrew (Friedman), the doctors and medical and just kind of saying, ‘OK, we’ve done the three inning live, it’s a little taxing, or more taxing on my body,'” manager Dave Roberts said.

“And so you’re at a point of, I don’t know if it’s diminishing returns, is the expression, but he’s ready to pitch in a Major League game. So he let us know that.”

Shohei Ohtani leading NL All-Stars

On the dame day Ohtani pitched in his first game for the Dodgers, it was also announced he’s leading National League players in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game voting update.

Will Smith, Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernández also are on track to be voted NL starters at Truist Park.
