FOCO Selling Dodgers Bobblehead For Shohei Ohtani’s 250 Career Home Runs

FOCO released a new Los Angeles Dodgers bobblehead to commemorate Shohei Ohtani reaching 250 career home runs.

The bobblehead portrays Ohtani in the home Dodgers uniform and of course posed in a home run swing. The thematic backdrop includes a mountain landscape and dragon accent display.

Ohtani’s bobblehead also features a “250 HOME RUNS” text display on front of the base to further signify his career accomplishment. The bobblehead is a limited edition and only available for a production run of 250 units.

Ohtani achieved the feat by slugging two home runs on Saturday in the Dodgers’ win against the San Francisco Giants. That set them up for a rubber match at Dodger Stadium, which L.A. won as well to move to two games ahead of the Giants for first place in the National League West.

Ohtani’s multi-homer effort against the Giants ended a 10-game home run drought, which was the longest of his career.

“I didn’t realize that,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “He has a way of making up for things and leveling things out. Hitting two homers I guess gets him back on track.”

One of the long balls came in the bottom of the first inning, giving Ohtani a career-best seven leadoff home runs this season.

Moreover, he reached 250 career home runs and 150-plus stolen bases in just 944 games, becoming the fastest player in MLB history to accomplish the feat. Ohtani surpassed Alex Rodriguez’s record of reaching those benchmarks in 977 career games.

Of his 250 career home runs, Ohtani has hit 79 with the Dodgers.

Shohei Ohtani making pitching return

While Ohtani has been a force at the plate since signing with the Dodgers, he’s now poised to pitch for the first time since 2023.

Ohtani’s start is expected to just be one inning, and no more than two.
