With just over two weeks until Opening Day, the Los Angeles Dodgers have begun trimming their Spring Training roster. On Sunday, the first round of cuts took place, as the club assigned Brock Stewart, Dennis Santana and 18 others to Minor League camp.
The Dodgers continued tinkering with its roster on Monday, as they optioned top prospect Walker Buehler, in addition to reassigning Manny Bañuelos and Max Muncy to the Minors.
Furthermore, the club has reportedly granted veteran reliever Mark Lowe his release, according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN:
Veteran reliever Mark Lowe was released today by the #Dodgers. He wants to keep pitching, even if it means going to Triple-A with a club.

Lowe went 0-1 and allowed eight hits on eight runs in 3.1 innings across four relief appearances for the Dodgers in Cactus League play.
Lowe last appeared in the Majors with the Detroit Tigers in 2016, where he posted a 7.22 ERA, 5.66 FIP and 1.58 WHIP across 49.1 innings of work. The right-hander particularly struggled with the home run ball, as he yielded more than two per nine innings.
Across 11 big league seasons, the 34-year-old owns a career 4.22 ERA, 4.20 FIP and 1.42 WHIP over 385.2 innings. He has appeared in 382 games since entering the league in 2006 as a member of the Seattle Mariners.
