The Los Angeles Dodgers officially reinstated Tony Gonsolin from the 60-day injured list ahead of his start Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Yoshi Tsutsugo was placed on the 10-day IL with a right calf strain, and Scott Alexander was transferred to the 60-day IL in order to add Gonsolin to the 40-man roster and activate him.

Alexander has been on the injured list with left shoulder inflammation since May 6 (retroactive to May 3). He’s 0-2 with a 2.31 ERA, 3.92 FIP and 0.69 WHIP in 13 games this season.

On Tuesday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts estimated Alexander would not return until the final week of June or first few days of July. Wednesday’s paper move means Alexander is not eligible to be activated until July 2. He’s
