Along with activating Brett Anderson from the 60-day disabled list on Sunday, the Los Angeles Dodgers also recalled Brock Stewart from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Josh Ravin (right triceps tightness) was placed on the 15-day DL to clear room on the active roster for Anderson.

Stewart joins the Dodgers for a third time this season, though this is his first in being stashed in the bullpen as a long reliever. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 14.00 ERA and 2.33 WHIP in nine innings pitched over two starts with Los Angeles.

Stewart appeared in six games out of the bullpen last season with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, and worked as a reliever in 16 of 17 games with Rookie level Ogden Raptors in 2014.

He began this season with the Quakes and quickly climbed the Minor League ranks. Across High-A, Double-A and Triple-A, Stewart is 9-3 with a 1.75 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 125 strikeouts in 19 starts (113 innings).

The Dodgers lose Ravin shortly after he was reinstated from the restricted list. Ravin began the year on the 60-day DL due to a fractured left forearm suffered in a car accident during Spring Training, then was suspended 80 games by Major League Baseball during his recovery for testing positive for a performance enhancing drug.

Ravin allowed one hit and had three strikeouts in two scoreless innings over three relief appearances with the Dodgers.
