Los Angeles Dodgers prospects Andy Pages, Ben Casparius and Kyle Nevin earned Minor League Player of the Week honors in their respective leagues for the week of April 6-16.
Pages, who is currently playing with the Double-A Tulsa Drillers, was named Texas League Player of the Week. During the stretch, he hit an excellent .393/.561/.750 over nine games.
Pages did most of his damage against the Midland RockHounds, reaching base 19 times in 29 plate appearances and driving in 10 runs across six games, including a two-homer performance last Friday.
Casparius, who is with the High-A Great Lakes Loon, earned Midwest League Pitcher of the Week honors. He has allowed only one run over two starts thus far while collecting 10 strikeouts in nine innings.
Casparius tossed six no-hit frames in his most recent outing against the Dayton Dragons, striking out five and walking two.
Nevin, who is playing with the Single-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, took home California League Player of the Week. He ended his week on an eight-game hitting streak, which included five multi-hit performances against the Visalia Rawhide.
Nevin recorded 18 hits in 37 at-bats with four doubles and six walks, and hit an overall .487/.558/.649 across nine games.
