Retired Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully will receive the Icon Award on Wednesday night at the 2017 ESPYS, ESPN announced. Actor Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad” will present the award to the 89-year-old.

ESPN gives the Icon Award to “individuals whose careers have left a lasting impression” in sports. It was first presented to retired New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter in 2015.

Retired Los Angeles Lakers guard and five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant, former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, and retired Olympic gold medalist Amy Wambach each received the Icon Award last year.

Scully officially retired in 2016, after 67 seasons spent in the booth. His career spanned from Brooklyn to Los Angeles, and he’s the longest-tenured broadcaster with one team.

Since putting down the microphone, Scully has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest-ranking award a civilian can receive, and he was inducted into the Dodger Stadium Ring of Honor.

In his return to Chavez Ravine, Scully said he was “completely at peace” in retirement. The legendary voice of the Dodgers has largely remained out of the public spotlight over the past nine months.

Of course, the ever-so-modest Hall-of-Famer wouldn’t have it any other way. To public knowledge Scully has only visited Dodger Stadium three times since retiring.
