Now that it’s officially the offseason for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Mookie Betts is back in his home state of Tennessee to be among the presenters at the 56th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards.

The awards, hosted by country music star Luke Bryan, and National Football League Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, are set to take place on Wednesday, November 9, at Bridgestone Arena.

Betts joins a star-studded list of presenters from the country music scene, including BRELAND, Jessica Chastain, Jordan Davis, Sarah Drew, Cole Hauser, Little Big Town, Reba McEntire, and many others.

The two-time World Series Champion might not be among the biggest names in the country music world but on perhaps the genre’s biggest night, he’ll fight right in with the star power.

A list of performances was announced, with Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, and Zac Brown Band.

Betts has used music as an outlet, including bringing his own turntables into the clubhouse for postgame fun following a win.

Betts previously presented at the 2022 ESPY Awards that were held at Dolby Theatre.

Mookie Betts wins Gold Glove & Fielding Bible Award

Betts was named a 2022 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner in right field, beating out Daulton Varsho of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Diego Padres’ Juan Soto.

It was the sixth time Betts has taken home the award, after doing so in five consecutive years from 2016-2020.

This season, Betts led National League right fielders in Total Zone Rating (31), and was second in Ultimate Zone Rating (12.5), Outs Above Average (5), and Defensive Runs Saved (15). He also was a leader in SABR Defensive Index (SDI) through Aug. 28, with 11.19.

Betts additionally won a Fielding Bible Award as the best defensive right fielder in baseball.
