Clayton Kershaw coming off the 60-day disabled list last weekend answered an important question for the Los Angeles Dodgers. But Brett Anderson, Scott Kazmir and Brandon McCarthy all remain on the DL.

So too does Hyun-Jin Ryu, though his potential return this season appears much more doubtful. That may also apply to Kazmir, as he suffered a setback during his rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Kazmir was diagnosed with thoracic spine inflammation, and a timetable for his return has not been set. Meanwhile, as days in the regular season tick away, Anderson is going out on a second rehab assignment.

According to Bill Plunkett of the OC Register, the southpaw is slated to start for Oklahoma City in Game 3 of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series:

Anderson allowed six runs (five earned) on nine hits in just two innings of work during a rehab assignment with High-A Rancho Cucamonga earlier this month. Anderson was removed after throwing 61 pitches due to concerns over his blister resurfacing.

The 28-year-old returned in August from back surgery, but only managed to make two starts, both of which were cut short due to injury. Anderson suffered a mild left wrist sprain in his 2016 debut, and was removed from his second start due to the aforementioned blister.

He was put on the 15-day disabled list Aug. 23, retroactive to Aug. 21. Anderson went 0-2 and allowed a combined 11 runs (24.75) over four-plus innings pitched.
