With the National League Division Series now shifting to Dodger Stadium, fans attending games must comply with a new Los Angeles County Department of Public Health order that went into effect at midnight on Thursday.

Patrons at indoor portions of bars, wineries, distilleries, nightclubs and lounges must show proof at least one dose of a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. Two doses will be required beginning Nov. 4.

Unvaccinated customers and employees are only permitted in outdoor areas of the aforementioned establishments.

Furthermore, those 12 and older who attend an outdoor mega-event of at least 10,000 people are required to show proof of either full vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours.

With that, the Dodgers are requiring fans 12 and over to present at Dodger Stadium entry gates proof of either full vaccination or negative test taken within 72 hours of the event date.

A person is fully vaccinated if at least two weeks have passed since they have received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The Dodgers consider the following acceptable forms of proof of full vaccination: attendee’s COVID-19 vaccination card; OR a photo of attendee’s vaccination card as a separate document; OR a photo of attendee’s vaccination card stored on the person’s phone or electronic device; OR documentation of attendee’s full vaccination status against COVID-19 from a healthcare provider (on a mobile app, paper document, digital wallet card).

Vaccination cards/records must clearly show the name of the vaccinated attendee, type of vaccine administered, and date(s) each dose was received.

To show proof of a negative test taken within 72 hours of the game at Dodger Stadium, the team requires the attendee to present a printed document from the test provider or laboratory showing the negative test result; OR an email or text message displayed on attendee’s phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.

Test results must clearly show the name of the tested attendee, type of test performed, date of the test (which must be within the prior 72 hours), and the negative test result.

San Francisco has required proof of vaccination for staff and customers at indoor food and drink establishments, gyms and entertainment venues since Aug. 20. San Francisco also has a mask mandate for all indoor businesses.

Dodger Stadium mask policy

In addition to the proof of full vaccination or negative test result, all individuals two and older and attending a game at Dodger Stadium must continue to wear a mask or appropriate face covering unless when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seat or when at a table.

Neck gaiters, bandanas, and masks with valves are still not considered to be appropriate face coverings.
