The Los Angeles Dodgers are celebrating “Reopening Day” at Dodger Stadium in conjunction with the state of California loosening restrictions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and full capacity now permitted for home games.

The first 25,000 ticketed fans in attendance will receive a Justin Turner bobblehead while supplies last at a guest’s point of entry. And to further celebrate the occasion, players and on-field personnel will again be in the Dodgers Gold Series jersey and cap.

The team first wore the gold-trimmed design that is bestowed on the defending World Series champion for their home opener and weekend series against the Washington Nationals.

Reopening Day ceremonies will include Brad Paisley performing the national anthem and the ESPYs celebrating the club’s 2020 championship. Furthermore, all activations in the center field plaza will be fully open for the first time this season.

That includes batting and pitching cages, turf kids area, Gold Glove bar in the left field pavilion and the Dodgers’ dugout augmented reality photobooth. New Dodger Stadium food options, such as Shake Shack and the California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) flagship location, remain open as well.

The Dodgers also are continuing to operate a mobile vaccination site on Tuesday and Wednesday. The first 1,000 fans to get vaccinated at Dodger Stadium are receiving two free tickets to one home game at a later date this season.

Auto gates open two hours prior to the game, and Dodger Stadium gates open 1.5 hours before to first pitch. Former Dodgers players will be in the center field plaza to greet fans.

Dodger Stadium mask policy

Fans that are fully vaccinated no longer are required to wear a face mask when visiting Dodger Stadium.

Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask or appropriate face covering while in indoor public settings, such as retail stores and restaurants, while not actively eating or drinking. Dodger Stadium employees that interact with the public will continue to wear face coverings.

Neck gaiters, bandanas and masks with valves are not considered appropriate face coverings.
