Since opening in 1958, Dodger Stadium has been the home of several Hall of Famers, World Series wins, and historic moments and games.

Throughout its history countless photographs have been taken at Dodger Stadium to document accomplishments, wins, or routine trips to Chavez Ravine.

The advent of social media has led to those photos being shared across Instagram, Twitter, and other social properties.

As such, for a third consecutive year, Dodger Stadium ranked fifth on Travel and Leisure’s list of most-Instagrammed locations in 2015:

1. New York, New York; Times Square
2. Paris; Eiffel Tower
3. London; Tower Bridge
4. Moscow; Red Square
5. Los Angeles; Dodger Stadium
6. Istanbul; İstiklal Caddesi
7. Sao Paolo, Brazil; Parque Ibirapuera
8. Amsterdam; Vondelpark
9. Barcelona; Park Güell
10. San Francisco; Golden Gate Bridge
11. Saint Petersberg; Nevsky Prospect
12. Chicago, Illinois; Wrigley Field
13. Rome; Colloseum
14. Berlin; East Side Gallery
15. Venice, Italy; Piazzo San Marco
16. Madrid; Estadio Santiago Barnabeu
17. Milan; Milano, Piazza Duomo
18. Las Vegas; Bellagio Las Vegas
19. Bangkok; Siam Paragon
20. Dubai, UAE; The Dubai Mall

Dodger Stadium ranked eighth in 2013, and second last year. Per information released by Instagram, the Dodger Stadium geotag ranked seventh in the world. Regardless of which list is referenced, Chavez Ravine is the first sports venue to appear in the rankings.

The Dodgers led baseball in home attendance for a third consecutive year in 2015, getting over 3.7 million fans to pass through the turnstiles. Los Angeles were 55-26 at home, which tied the St. Louis Cardinals for the best home record in baseball.

Chavez Ravine served as a back drop to several memorable moments last season. From Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke routinely dominating opposing hitters, to Joc Pederson making a diving catch to save a game, or Adrian Gonzalez delivering with a clutch hit.

With a new manager in Dave Roberts, and a front office committed to putting a strong team on the field, the Dodgers will likely compete for a fourth straight NL West division title in 2016. And that should coincide with more Instagram posts.
