While the Los Angeles Dodgers have made a strong case to be the latest MLB dynasty by winning back-to-back World Series titles and three in the last six years, their franchise history and success since 2000 is a mixed bag.
Up until the current era there was middling levels of postseason accomplishments since the turn of the century. But during that time has come impressive individual performances and players who carved out a special place in Dodgers franchise history.
The DodgerBlue.com staff has ranked the best Dodgers players in the last 25 years, beginning with Miguel Rojas to start off the quarter century team list. Among other factors, the all-time Dodgers list was compiled by evaluating a player’s contributions and significance to the franchise.

No. 25: Miguel Rojas
Rojas began his MLB career with the Dodgers in 2014 but then was with the Miami Marlins from 2015-2022. He became an everyday player for the Marlins but returned to the Dodgers organization before the start of the 2023 season.
That was with an expectation that Rojas would fill a utility role, but he wound up becoming the primary starter at shortstop. The veteran then put together an impressive offensive season in 2024 and while there was regression the next year, Rojas etched his name in Dodgers postseason lore during the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.
He made an impressive pick to help end Game 6 with a double play after Kiké Hernández made a running catch, then delivered a dramatic home run in the ninth inning of Game 7 that pulled the Dodgers even.
In the bottom of the ninth, Rojas fielded a chopper at second base and quickly got enough footing and grip of the baseball to throw home for a force out with the bases loaded. That kept the game tied and helped lead to Will Smith’s decisive home run in the 11th inning.
Rojas’ Dodgers career highlights also include making an impressive stop and throw to save Clayton Kershaw’s only no-hitter of his career.
